The smoke from these hardwood chunks is mild and pairs perfectly with beef, pork, poultry, fish, fruit and vegetables. Place the wood chunks directly in lit charcoal for immediate smoke flavor.
Set up for a timed release of smoke when doing longer cooks by placing chunks into unlit charcoal, then adding some lit charcoal and a chunk of wood.
