Good cushions are the right combination of all materials used: the filling on the inside and the fabrics on the outside. Lower quality cushions have a lower foam density and are often not fully water-resistant.

Care & Maintenance

• Brush off loose dirt.
• Spray on a cleaning solution of water and mild soap.
• Use a soft bristle brush to clean.
• Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.
• Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed.
• Air dry.

Jati & Kebon aluminium garden furniture is light as a feather, strong as steel, robust and corrosion-resistant. It is made with high-quality materials and cutting-edge technologies.

Aluminium has a density lower than those of other common metals, at approximately one third that of steel.

Aluminium reacts with the oxygen in the air, forming a protective oxide coating that makes it corrosion resistant. This means less maintenance.

Aluminium is environmental-friendly as it can be easily recycled. It requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce the initial primary metal to recycle it. In fact, 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use.

Care & Maintenance

No worries, aluminium requires very little maintenance. The powder-coated aluminium is easy to clean with clear water and a mild detergent, this should remove any dirt or splashes. Removing surface water with a drying cloth will help avoid residual water spots.

Avoid using any abrasive products or tools, as these could cause scratches in the powder coating.

The Jati & Kebon Story

Service with an entrepreneurial spirit. In 1976, Firmin Verbeke decided to start a company that would sell lawnmowers and other powered tools for garden maintenance. The business became an instant success, as a result of hard work and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Entrepreneurship definitely ran in the family, because a few decades later, in 1995, his son and daughter Johan and Leen Verbeke took over the reins of the company. Together, they started to switch the focus on the sourcing and distribution of teak garden furniture from Indonesia, a country well-known for its excellent craftsmanship. They came up with the brand name Jati & Kebon, Indonesian for 'teak' and 'garden', in remembrance of where it all began.
