Measure Your Space: Know how much space you have to fill with your tree. If you don't measure, you could be disappointed when you get your tree home to find it's either too big or too small. Remember, the stand will also affect the height.

Spruce vs. Nordmann:

Spruce: A traditional choice, with sharp pines that tend to drop frequently.

Nordmann: A modern option, with soft pines that shed far less.

Trimming: Trimming your tree is actually beneficial. Cutting the base helps it fit in the stand and allows better water absorption. You can also trim any unwanted branches. You can do this yourself or we can help you on-site.

Tree Stands: To keep a real Christmas tree in your home, you need a stand that holds water. We offer a variety of stands in different styles and colors at Oaktree. Keep in mind, once your tree is in the stand, it could appear about a foot taller.

Finding Your Perfect Tree: We understand that finding the perfect tree is difficult, so feel free to be as thorough as you like. Look through as many of our trees as you see fit. Our staff are happy to help you search or point you in the direction of trees of certain sizes.

Ideal Conditions: Leave the tree outdoors in the cold for as long as possible. Bringing it into the warm isn't ideal, but when you do, keep it away from hot areas like radiators or fires. Be sure to water the base regularly to prevent needle drop and keep the tree fresh.

Delivery: We offer a local delivery service. This can be arranged at the tills when paying for your chosen tree.
